Experience That Counts . . . Tami L. Peters
When it comes to taking care of the details, nobody does it better than Tami Peters. Her career has been spent with companies that live or die by the details. As the Assistant to the Executive Director of an Indianapolis-based consulting company, Tami was responsible for handling hundreds of important details for everything from organizational finances and company Board meetings to membership services, continuing education classes, and major events. The result was no surprises and no dollars spent unnecessarily.
As Accounting Assistant at J. R. Helms & Associates, Tami processes clients’ books, fields clients’ payroll issues, and assembles tax returns. Equally importantly, Tami keeps track of J. R. Helms & Associates’ priorities, ensures that planning needs are met, and keeps everybody on schedule so no deadlines are missed. It is Tami’s friendly voice you’ll often hear when you call J. R. Helms & Associates.
Tami doesn’t believe in Indiana rivalries… she holds a B.S. degree from Purdue University and an Associates degree from Indiana University. When not working Tami enjoys canoeing, hiking, rollerblading, playing golf, reading and home improvement projects.
